Title:A robust optimization model for an integrated location-inventory problem

We present an integrated network design and inventory problem in spare-parts logistics management. The existing models are usually very difficult to solve due to demand uncertainty as well as service-level constraints, which make them highly non-linear. We introduce a robust optimization approach to deal with these difficulties. The resulting model is linear with a highly sparse structure. We also present the results of an extensive computational study to show the effectiveness of the robust model.
