Title: Analytic Centers and Repelling Inequalities

A theory of "repelling inequalities" is introduced and applied to LP central paths. This gives rise to the concept of "prime analytic centers" and it bridges the gap between algebraic and geometric descriptions of polytopes. We examine the "repelling central path" to explore the impact of representation on interior point methods.
